GE's galore! DXB 5097, resplendent in its Phase 1 Kiwi Rail paint sits among friends as it waits in the depot before being called to run 523 south later in the day.

Shunt engine Tr 678 sits "on the block", its career over. This loco has since been taken into preservation by a local group.
